Psychics, Ghosts & UFOs: Are They Myths or Real?

If you’ve ever given any thought to the word, “psychic, one of the most prominent figures who likely comes to mind would be the cunning, fast-talking, Jamaican impostor, Miss Cleo. Despite her crystal ball and snake-oil smile, one would think if Ms. Cleo was psychic enough to see a $13.5M payday from her gullible and unsuspecting psychic network of callers, she should have been just as clairvoyant to have seen trouble looming around the bend, when the Federal Trade Commission lowered the boom on… Continue

Interracial Dating and Marriage: Why It's Still Being Debated - Part 2

Last week on “The Way I See It” our guests, authors Cicely J and Greyling Presley II created quite a flurry of controversy in our chat room as they discussed their opinions as they relate to “Interracial Dating and Marriage, and Why It’s Still Being Debated.” Their respective books, “black men vs. White Men... the Black Woman’s Choice,” and “No Disrespect Sista, But I Want to Be Happy,” both titles admittedly created for “shock value,” represent two skewed point-of-views that can only further al… Continue

Interracial Dating and Marriage: Why It's Still Being Debated

Ladies and Gentlemen, line up your snacks; pull up your chairs and LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!! Sunday, on “The Way I See It,” Jay King, Robert Redwine and I (Joan-Adrienne), invite you to join us as we step into a battle zone to officiate the often debated topic on black men and women who elect to step outside of their own race to find “real” love. While it is possible the claws may come out and the daggers may be flying, we suspect that by the time this show finally concludes, this topic will… Continue

Do You Know How Many Sexual Predators Are in Your Neighborhood?

Have you ever believed in and been afraid of the bogeyman? If so, you’re probably saying to yourself, last week on “The Way I See It,” Jay, Robert and Joan left us a little unnerved talking about the estimated 3.4 million people who are preyed upon, every year, by “stalkers.” Well, this week, in case you have slipped back into your comfort zone, disregarding any fears of your past about the bogeyman, your concerns ought to be greater now than they have ever been as sexual predators, being releas… Continue
