Where Is Society?

As I been thinking at this moment
There is this question that been on my mind lasting
I hear references of we live in many adjectives of societies
But then I been wondering for years what is society
Thats a question thats been ask to define society
When I went like Noah Webster to define it
I couldnt get a solid answer that was satisfying
It seem to conflict
At many attempts that contradict
So I was listening to Common Blaque Maybe song on the lastest CD
Where he did a spoken approach on there that maybe the prison is in our own mind
Therefore, I was thinking where is society
People say its so much pressure from society
But I lived in a neighborhood
Seen other surroundings but yet none of the societal pressure present
I dont see the surrounding limits or boundaries of society
Society seem to be an abstract so untouchable
But if thats the case, where is this imprisoning pressure coming from
Is society real or is it a mental illusion
A tool of manipulation
That became a hypnotic presentation
So if we are a free society
Then is that an oxymoron
We are free but yet bound by limits that restict being self
We look at people in the prison but does that feel like a reflection at times
I understand responsibility of freedom
But I must also recognize the illusion of freedom
We live in a microwave society but where is it really located
If society is a mental trap, then the pressure exists becasue we created it
Basically society seems to be a tool for someone to create his own earth
Or in other words to play God so he can be in charge instead of God
This is some things Ive been thinking on society
So I ask where is society
